Car Parking at Conference Aston

Car parking at Conference Aston must be booked online before your arrival.

Please visit www.conferenceaston.co.uk/carparking to reserve and pay for your parking space. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email containing your parking permit (to display in your windscreen) and the entry code for the car park.

As availability cannot be guaranteed on the day, delegates are strongly encouraged to book their parking in advance of travelling.

By Metro

Snow Hill and Bull Street stops are both approximately 12 minutes away on foot.

By air

Approximately 10 minutes by train or 25 minutes by car from Birmingham Airport.

Rail, Metro, bus and taxi information

Rail: New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street stations are all within walking distance. Visit thetrainline.com for ticket information.

Metro: From Birmingham Bull Street, walk through The Minories, continue onto Corporation Street and follow signs for Aston University.

Bus: Services operate to the Aston University campus throughout the day. Use the National Express West Midlands journey planner.

Taxi: Ask your driver for the Aston University campus. The central taxi drop-off point is approximately one minute from the conference centre and hotel.

Driving directions

Electric vehicle charging is available in the onsite car park, subject to availability. Public charging points are also located outside the hotel and conference centre on Aston Street and Woodcock Street.

From the M6, north or south
  1. Exit at Junction 6, following signs for the A38(M) and Birmingham city centre.
  2. Take lane 2 of the A38(M) for approximately 2 miles, following signs for the city centre.
  3. Exit left immediately after the overhead End of Motorway sign, before the flyover.
  4. Keep left and follow signs for Aston University.
From the M42 and Birmingham Airport

Leave the M42 at Junction 7A, follow signs for the M6 north towards Birmingham, then follow the M6 directions.

From the M40, Oxford

Join the M42 westbound towards the M5. Travel north on the M5, leave at Junction 3 and follow the M5 south-west directions.

From the M1 and the south

Leave the M1 at Junction 19 to join the M6 towards Birmingham, then follow the M6 directions.

From south Birmingham

Join the A4540 heading north. At the Dartmouth Middleway traffic lights, turn left onto Lister Street and continue onto Woodcock Street.

From the M5 south-west and city centre

Leave the M5 at Junction 3 and follow the A456 towards Birmingham city centre. Continue towards the A38(M), then follow signs for Aston University.

Greener travel options

Conference Aston recommends travelling by rail, bus or Metro where possible. West Midlands cycle and e-scooter hire is available across Birmingham, with drop-off zones on the Aston University campus.
