Explosion Power GmbH was founded in 2009 and is thoroughly a Swiss company, as we not only have our headquarters here but also develop and produce within our own country. That’s why all our products bear the label “Swiss made”.
The company develops, produces, sells, installs and maintains Shock Pulse Generator Systems for continuous, automated online cleaning processes of heating surfaces in Waste incineration, power plants, and process industry. Explosion Power has a global presence through its network of local distributors.

The Shock Pulse Generator (SPG) is an online boiler cleaning equipment automatically generating Shock Pulses by pressurized gas combustion. With worldwide more than 1,200 successful installations since 2009, the SPG technology has proven to significantly improve boiler efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. The latest SPGr-Series, launched in 2019, offers even longer maintenance intervals and lower lifecycle costs.
This high-tech technology is globally unique and patented. The CE certification is based on the Pressure Equipment Directive PED2014/68/EU by applying a QA system at the highest level, audited by Dekra Automobil.
The Shock Pulse Generator technology can be applied across a range of boilers, including Waste to Energy, biomass, industrial waste, hazardous waste, coal power plants, waste heat recovery boilers, black liquor, metallurgy and process industry. Plant operators confirmed significant prolongation of boiler operating periods and increased efficiency, thus contributing to a sustainable and economic plant operation.
